What is on your stairs?

3 sets of stairs and it’s just carpeting on each.

Ugly pink carpeting, dog hair, 30+ years of stains, and probably a few pairs of shoes wedged in the railing to be taken upstairs. I want to rip up that carpeting, but right now we need the traction for the pup.

Nothing on either set. Temporarily an item that is heading up or down may reside there till the next trip.

Carpet on the main stairs nothing on the basement stairs. Every once in a while whatever needs to go upstairs sits on the steps until I make the next trip up.

Dumb cat would lay on the 2nd step of the basement. I though I killed him, then thought I was going to die because there was no light at the top of the steps going down to the basement.

It's not fun stepping on a cat on the stairs.

Dumb cat because after that, he still slept on the 2nd step.

I have a drop down wooden staircase (eh, a ladder?) that leads to the attic. Don't ask me to go look, that place is a safe zone for whatever's hiding up there.
