Just 2 senior adults planning on ordering some groceries. I know what I used to buy when I had small kids. What are some ideas for adults to have delivered to the room besides water and alcohol?

If ordering from Publix… Pub. Subs.

Also ensure you look out for snacks local to Florida or the southeast as well.

Two seniors here who placed an order recently-coffee (DH's picky about his brand), bananas, breakfast pastry, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew Sugar-Free, chips, flavored coffee creamer, orange juice, a few odds and ends. I wished we'd ordered more fruit-maybe some cut watermelon, peaches, cut pineapple. And the salty chips were a good choice.
I like the idea of local items-I did look for cream soda, which we can't get in Texas.

(laughs in Big Red cream soda)

It depends. My grocery list for a DVC villa is going to be different that my grocery list for a value resort room.

Generally speaking, I buy beverages (water and soda), something for breakfast (varies depending on whether I can cook or not), and something to snack on such as cheese and crackers or cookies. If it’s a long trip, I may buy bread, sliced meat, and cheese for sandwiches for those evenings when I come back to the room early and don’t feel like going out for dinner.

If I can cook in the room, that generally means I have a full size fridge and freezer, so I might order items to make a couple of lunches or dinners.

I always make sure I have paper plates and large ziploc bags in the room as well (can pack in suitcase or add to grocery order).
