What is 'Ohana's like??

Okay guys, I booked Ohana's the last day we are there and now I am thinking I need to go two times in this one trip.:p We are staying at the poly - so we would not have to go very far.:)

Thanks to all your replies, I just made PS for my group there. Looking forward to it, I wish I was already there.

Thanks again!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

This describes it all. I snapped this pic of my husband in the middle of him saying "Oooohhh yeeaaahhh"

And this is my getting a little loopy drinking the AWESOME lapu-lapu. I don't remember exactly what's in it, I just remember the bartendar pouring in pineapple juice and a LOT of liquor!

Can you tell we LOVE 'Ohana!!! :bounce: :bounce:

Is the lapu lapu drink included with dinner?
Are there other drink options?
In June, what time are the fireworks usually?
Thanks for the info on this place.
I'm gonna make a PS today.
Thanks, YO

Lapu Lapu is NOT included with dinner (I think it costs around $8). There is a separate menu of about 10 exotic drinks and also a separate dessert menu if you don't want to settle for the soft drinks and/or the pineapple/caramel dessert, which ARE included. Check out menus at www.wdwig.com for specific pricing.

Park hours have not been posted yet for June, but usually Wishes runs right at park closing time. It will depend upon your day of the week. It will be late (maybe 10ish) if a weekend, 8:30 or 9ish if weekday when Spectro isn't running (generally).

this thread has just convinced me to book a PS at ohana myself.

this is now the way we are gonna kick off our vacation on 5/29

arrival>checkin>ohanas!!!

Can anyone tell me what their character breakfasts are like? Is the food as good as you make the dinners sound? Thanks!! Was thinking of doing something different for our stay in May.

Hi! Am I correct in thinking that for OHana's & Hoop De Doo you don't need to do them on a day you have entrance to a park? Nor do you have to be staying at a Disney resort? You can make a PS & drive to the appropriate resort etc?
Thanks,

You are correct, you do not have to be staying at a Disney Resort nor do you have to enter a park to enjoy any resort restaurant.

We did 'Ohana character breakfast on our last trip and I loved it! The food was great and we had a great view of the castle. Going back again next month.

I'm sure glad I have a PS at O'hana's Easter evening. I heard it was good, just didn't realize how good. I think we'll skip lunch this day to make sure we get our money's worth.

We love Ohana's so much that we added another night to our vacation just to fit it in. I had made all of our PSs and had every dinner covered. We love to try new places so I was too busy thinking up restaurants and Ohana's slipped my mind. DD, 5, asked if we were going to Ohana's again so I had to add another day at the Poly. It is her favorite restaurant.

Boy, I guess I really missed something! Last week I had Ohana's breakfast scheduled but didn't get there because we had to change plans. I'll definitely plan it into the next trip, whenever that may be. My DH says we'll go again in 2 years. I don't think I can wait that long!!
