Here is the scenario. If you can give me an opinion on what you think my best ticket option is, I'd appreciate it.

It will be me and my DS. We are going for 9 nights in a few weeks. Originally, I had definitely planned on going back for a week in March and maybe one other trip. However, now I am not sure if we will go back or not in a year because I am starting a new job and don't know anything about what my vacation availability will be at this point. I am also a DVC member, so room discounts don't mean much to me. However, my son LOVES Disney Quest and we go there almost every night.
We also will do 1 day at a water park.

So do I go with....

a premium annual pass?
a park hopper plus of some type plus a Disney Quest A.P.?
a Fun in the Sun Pass just for this trip?

I originally was going to get the P.A.P.s but now, since I don't know my vacation fate for the rest of the year, am leaning toward the Fun in the Sun pass-- but don't like the idea that I will have nothing to show for it once the trip is over.

What do you think?

Since you are not sure if you will make another trip in a year, an annual pass may not be what you desire.

Park Hopper Plus passes would work for 7 days - and then Disney Quest tickets.

Look at the big picture - which would be more cost effective. For 9 days, figure how many days you will be in the parks, plus factor in Disney Quest and any water parks.

If you are thinking about going in the next year, I would do the PAP - I think it would be the best.

It may also turn out to be the cheapest - if you don't get the PAP and then you decide to take another trip, then you have to purchase passes all over again.

Even if you got a UPH, which includes Disney Quest, I think the PAP would be a better deal (since you are thinking of another trip within a year)

I think that the FITS pass would be best for you, especially if a return trip within a year is not a possibility.

The FITS will give you unlimited DQ, park visits and waterparks. It will cost less than the APs and less than a 7-day PHP + DQ AP.

If there's a chance that you'll be back at WDW in less than a year, the the PAP would make more economical sense.

Hi disneycrazed139,

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World has a "best ticket option" page on its website: www.TouringPlans.com/UG_Tickets.html . Enter your trip information and it tells you the four least-expensive ticketing options for you. It'll also suggest annual passes under certain circumstances.
