What is Magical Beginnings?

OK, I bought a long time ago, 1993, and I don't know what Magical Beginnings is! Please tell me because I'm interested in purchasing more points.

MB is available if you buy points directly from Disney. You are selling back your first year's allotment of points to Disney. The amount that they will purchase them for sometimes changes. The other active post about MB lists the current buy-back rates.
