What is it that you dislike about your resort

I hate the fact that there is no monarail service from HH to WDW and the long walk to EPCOT.;)

Those are my only issues.

This is what I love about this forum - someone's dislike is someone else's like - we stayed at OKW on the third floor and we liked the trees and other foilage around the balcony, it gave us a feeling of privacy and also leant a tropical feeling to the resort

thanks

WLV- sharing transportation with the campground
BCV-they need another, larger fast food place with longer hours

Ok here goes....

VWL- can't say as I haven't stayed here yet. But that transportation thing sounds like it would be an issue.

BCV- Having to claw your neighbors for a seat at SAB. We only went by that pool once so the kids could use the slide. After that stayed by the quiet pool.

I will be honest. OKW is our home, but we like it the least. The resort reminds me of an apartment complex. When I am on vacation I want to be in a full service hotel with all the amnenties of home. Boardwalk gives you the best of both worlds and it is so convenient. I would choose convenience over size any day, but everybody has different preferences. We are trying Beach Club for the first time next year and I can't wait.

A lot of you may be wondering why we invested in OKW if that is our last choice. I teach at a Business University and my husband works in the world of finance. Since we are analytical in nature, we went with the best investment and OKW beats every property hands down. We decided it was worth the savings to take a chance on the 7 month window. Also, being forced to stay at OKW is not considered a hardship to us. We have stayed at OKW and have enjoyed ourselves very much.

The only way I could be convinced to invest in any other property besides OKW would be if I only visited WDW during Christmas (Peak Season).

I was answering the post about what you do not like about your home resort. I must of clicked on new thread instead of reply. I tried to delete the post, but the system will not let me. Can I get help from the webmaster?

I've never stayed at OKW, but we drove through it and it reminded me of an apartemnt complex, too. I didn't like that feeling. Hubby will stay here in March. I'll be curious what his opinion is. He liked the way it looked.

But it is a very nice apartment/condo complex!
But I agree, OKW does nothing for me either and I have stayed there several times. I have many times changed my travel dates if only OKW was available. For the price of my DVC membership I want a resort that offers a lot more than a bigger 1 br with a remote location to major parks, restaurants, etc and less amenities than a moderate and value resort provides.
But in answer to the OP, my home resort is BWV and there is only one thing I would change and that would be to have elevators located at the end of the building, like BCV has. Other than that I love BWV and find it to be the best resort on WDW property with BCV a very close 2nd.

...is that I heard they let other families stay in our 1 bedroom when we are not there! Of all the nerve...

Better buss service, and Cape May open for lunch.

We own at OKW, & BCV.

We recently stayed for the first time at BCV. We were disappointed in the hours at Cape May.

Otherwise the place is Great!!
