What is it that you dislike about your resort

Doubletrouble, yes, I was once assigned to a "road view." I think it was #159 and there was a little stretch of lawn and then road. I freaked -- my littlest was just turned 4 and I had visions of him "escaping" and heading for the road -- and I asked to be moved. They were nice and moved us. Since then I have feared the "road view." Any floor above first and it probably would have been fine. But I feel sort of jealous that at Boardwalk, crummy views are acknowledged and are less points. At BCV you take your chances... Of course this is all minor. A day in any room at WDW beats being home! :)

OKW~
Wish the main pool had a slide (well....my kids do and I wouldn't mind it either ;) ) Otherwise....we LOVE OKW !

The only think I don't like about BWV is the shared bus service. Very crowded all the time and seems like to take forever to get back from Magic Kingdom at the end of a long day.

BWV: The pool can get quite crowded.

VWL: I wish there was a lower points rate, like standard view at BWV.

All: The pull-out beds are not very comfortable.

BWV-the bus transporation..the lack of a quick dining place, like Food & Fun at Contemporary for example. The hot dog cart and the pizza window just don't do it for my family. It really disappoints me that we don't have a quick "food court-like" place inside the hotel. That clown slide, I think that is the ugliest thing.
The arcades-blah -the ones at the All Stars and the moderate resorts are better than the ones at the BW.

HH-I would like Tide Me Over to be open til about 6 pm, so if we wanted a quick little dinner we could get it from there.

OKW
The only thing I dislike(since I'm handicapped) are the beds are so high when you sit on them my feet don't touch the floor.

HH
The beds are too low. Can't hardly get up.

Of course these are HC villas. Go figure?????

Can't think of much I don't like at OKW, but since I now have some mobility issues, I wish there were elevators in all the buildings. Other than that, OKW is perfect!

BWV - Although we love that it is in the middle of everything, we do pay for it with it being a little noisy and busier than is ideal when we are traveling with little kids. This is a temporary situation - as this disadvantage should become an advantage as the kids get older - and controllable by asking for a quiet pool or standard view room.

My husband doesn't like the room decor - although he finds it better than most of the other resorts. The only rooms he finds attractive are VWL.

.....lockoff doors are a bit less than private. We could hear everything our neighbors were watching on TV next door. The lockoff door is right next to the studio bed and sitting area.
Besides that, sharing transportation with the camping area doesn't seem fair. Wanted to air my views, but I HATE to complain'cause it is a GREAT resort!!!!::MinnieMo

BWV--I hate that the grande villa costs so many more points than at OKW. what is up with that--it's no better, so how are those points justified? Also, I hate ESPN. Walk inside and people watch--Dad sits glued to the TV, Mom has to keep the little ones quiet. It's sad that a family restaurant is the place where Dad doesn't have to communicate with anyone else, and in fact, the noise level of the TV's is so high that he couldn't communicate without yelling, even if he wanted to!

BCV--the sofa beds. It's more comfortable sleeping on the floor.

For my family the most annoying thing is the lack of real beds in the second bedrooms. We hate the sofabeds, don't find them comfy at all. I wish all studios and 2 bedrooms had at least the option of two queen beds instead of the sofabed. Then IMHO all the DVC resorts would be just about perfect!!

BCV: Transportation all of the time and no pool bar like the one at the BWV.
hurricane hannahs?
But I feel sort of jealous that at Boardwalk, crummy views are acknowledged and are less points.
for what its worth, we had a really crummy view at bwv - looking at a service building right outside the balcony - that was considered a preferred view. It was the worst view we've ever had at dvc or disney resort at all for that matter. Its all relative I guess.

WLV Its too far away from my "other" home, other than that I love it!!

OKW... the pool.... no slide... big bummer for the kids... We love it there despite that...
BWV... the long walks havent bothered me yet, but we havent been that far away yet either... not thrilled with the clown either, but again.... LOVE the resort!
BCV... No Grand Villa

I have to stretch to find something to dislike, but I guess it would be the lock-off doors. We've had noise at Vero and BWV and I worry that we might bother the other side as well if we arise early or go to bed late. Other than that, I love everything about all the resorts!!

OKW

I wish they would trim the foliage around the patios... having a third floor jungle view is a bit weird

WVL & BWV

Tiny patios. It's hard even for the two of us to have breakfast outside.

All DVC resorts

We hate the fact that we aren't there nearly enough! :(
