Is this the same as that Matiltol or whatever you call it? LOL I bought some Sugar Free Butterscotch drops from Rite Aid today and it says:

Carbs: 15 grams
Isomalt: 15 grams

So before I eat one, is this Atkins friendly??

Thanks!

Atkins friendly but probably not Beanie friendly. Isomalt is a sugar alcohol. The same thing they use in the Hershey sugar free chocolate. Sorry, sweetie.

When will I ever just believe you, Kath?? :( I did read your post earlier, so off I went to try a few pieces...didn't take long to figure out it was the same thing! Major bummer! I can't eat any candy at all now!!

Oh well, I can always have my broccoli instead! Yum! :)

Thanks, Kath!

Why Beanie? Does it stall you? I have been living on the sugar free candy, and the bars. I know you guys keep saying that they stall you...but I have found the opposite to be true...I have finally started losing again... Do you think it is just temporary???? Will it stall me eventually?

Tracy

Tracy, Beanie's gastrointestinal system does not tolerate sugar alcohols. Sorry to be indelicate but she spends a lot ot time in the bathroom if she consumes sugar alcohols.

I, on the other hand, have no such problem :teeth:

Bean, well, now you know. Sorry you can't have any candy.

I have an idea for a sweet for you, though. Do you like meringues?
