What is included?

If you want pictures with any of the characters and don't want to pay the premium photo package prices just hand the CM your camera and they'll take a photo with that too

If there is a CM assisting the photographer, yes, they will use your camera to take your picture. Sometimes there isn't a CM assisting. Shutters photographers will not use your camera to take your picture.

And you can actually do the whole cruise without spending any extra money (except tips at the end). Our family had a wonderful time. The ONLY things we spent $ on were:

tasting
bingo (will never do it again! Huge waste of $ IMO)
souvenirs

We would have had a great time without those things as well!

ok so i know what is and is not included... can someone please tell me how much i could expect to spend for palo, spa, alcohol, beer, bingo, is there a set amount for the arcade card or is it like pre paid?

For palo we had a charge of around $100. That was the upcharge, a couple cocktails and tip. Alcohol totally depends on what and how much you drink. Figure ballpark $5/beer and $7/mixed drink. This of course could be lower or higher depending on your selections. There are other threads detailing prices of specific drinks if u want detail.
Bingo- we played once, 4 adults. I think we bought a family pack of paper cards. I want to say we spent $40. Maybe it was $80. We only did one session. Hope this helps.

Our onboard bill was $2000.00 for a 7 night cruise on the Wonder. Things that made that bill that amount:
We went to Palo
We went to several tastings
We bought 200 dollars with of souvenirs from the shops
We paid a corkage fee for about 12 bottles of wine
Bought two beer mugs and refilled them a few times.
a few other alcoholic beverage purchases throughout the 7 days
Went on Port excursions at each port
Had a manicure

Hmm, I think that is basically it. It does add up pretty fast!

Don't forget photos. We purchased the CD plus prints on a 4 night cruise which came out to about $300.

Wow, ok thanks guys, $5-7 for drinks isn't too bad, and bingo is definitely do able at those prices, if anyone else has prices of things I'd love to hear them!!!

Palo is $25 per person
spa- depends on the treatment
alcohol- we usually had the drink of the day which is just under $5
beer- not sure, we took our own
bingo- not sure
arcade- I would love to know the answer to this also.

For the Arcade I think there is a machine in that room and you pick the amount. I remember it is a separate card and our was $10. Can't remember much else. Like I said we almost didn't use that, he just played the x box etc. in the clubs for free.

So it is like a prepaid card if you will. This was a long time ago so hope my memory is right. I do remember the $10 limit on a card or maybe it was 10 credits...because the machine take different amounts I think. I told you it was a long time ago. Just know you set the limit.

You can buy the empty beer mug (close to $20 with gratuity added in) and get 22oz beers for the price of a 16 oz. With gratuities most beers were $6-$7. You can also bring your mug back on subsequent cruises or exchange it for a "token" (now a card) for refills. You don't have to buy a new mug each cruise as long as you bring your token or mug back.

Also, you can get a coffee card in Cove Cafe -- they will give you stamps with each specialty coffee purchase (even alcoholic) and when your card is full you get a free coffee drink. The coffee card is free. It's a nice little perk.

The movies are a great added value. Theater movies -- even in 3D -- are included. And on Dream/Fantasy they have a fantastic selection of on-demand movies in your stateroom, also free. Magic/Wonder have movie channels that play either fixed selections (for newer releases, not all Disney) or a rotating selection for Disney titles. On Magic there is a channel for Disney animated classics, Disney live-action films, and also a Pixar channel. Plus the full lineup of Disney Channel programming all day long.

...sorry to bump, but just curious about Room Service. I know most items are included, but how will we know what items are not? Is there a way to tell from looking at the menu items? I don't want any surprise charges. Can you ask if there's a charge when ordering? Thanks in advance!!

I only ordered included things but it did seem like things with extra charges were noted on the menu.

The things that cost extra are the items that you might find in a mini bar. Candy, peanuts, cashews, popcorn etc. They are in their own section of the menu and it says something like ask for pricing so it does indicate they are not included.

Good to know! I was hoping there would be something like that listed on the menu to indicate that it isn't "free." Thanks so much for the information!

Hi does the ice cream bar also include toppings and sauces - hot fudge etc?

When I get the the magic kingdom I always get a hot fudge sundae from the ice-cream tomorrow land - though 12 nights of eating these would definitely add a few pounds.

Yes, but the toppings are a little limited (no hot fudge, I think there was chocolate sauce - not the same as hot fudge) and can be a little unappetizing after a bunch of unsupervised kids have made a mess of them.

Thanks - Oh well probably for the best weight wise though it would have been nice - hot fudge sundaes in England are rare and nowhere near as nice as you have on the states.
