why do I have to download this? My AVG keeps protecting me from this download because of potential threats.
What else am I going to have to load? I'm having nothing but trouble trying to use this site now, never had a problem before.

You don't have to download anything extra and definitely should not. That is an ad, and it leads to Malware. Install a good ad-blocker.
