What is in your park bag?

I carry a small bag with:
Sunscreen
Tissues
Wallet
Phone
Meds
Gum and maybe a small snack
Portable phone charger (sometimes)
Hat (clipped to outside of bag)
1 or 2 Ziploc baggies

It depends on the day we are having...we have three scenarios lol

If we are spending ALL day out..like after dinner..we have a smaller cross body bag:

-individual wet ones to wash hands
-small amount of cash, most we charge to the room and take care of each evening
-bottle of water (we just refill this with filtered water in the parks as it empties...we don't mind sharing as long as we are all healthy)
-small snack for lines or blood sugar drop (fruit snack or granola bar or grapes from kiddie meal)
-bandaids
-sunscreen
-extra underwear for kids in a ziploc(they ALWAYS find water to play in lol)
-phone
-anker charger (portable batter pack for my phone...can just charge it in my bag..no need for an outlet)
-autograph books and sharpie
-ponchos

If we are taking a break and splitting up our day I take a wristlet:

-couple of bandaids
-cash
-ziploc for my phone on wet ride
-phone (though this is generally in my pocket for this part)

We don't worry about bringing water as our meals are planned, and if we need a drink we just ask for filterered water at a QS location.

If we are going for a party or just a hour or so (closing the park etc)...we go bagless! And it's VERY liberating lol. Just stick my fully charged phone in my pocket along with a $20 and head out the door! Sometimes I will stick a bandaid or two in my pocket...most often I forget. We've never needed them and if we do, there's a first aid station :) Bagless is so freeing!

In my medium sized backpack:
•3-4 bottles of water (5 people in family. .we run out fast)
•chapstick
•travel size sunscreen
• baby wipes
• portable phone charger
• band aids
• hand sanitizer
• small video camera
• Tylenol, ibuprofen
• snacks that won't melt

I carry the smallest bag possible. I have my phone, some lip stick/balm, my DVC card/ID/credit card, a couple of advil, and a few $$ just in case. I used to carry park tickets and the fast pass stash, but with magic bands I no longer have to do that. I also used to carry my camera, but after so many trips, we don't take many pics anymore, and the ones we do take, I just use my phone.

We tried bagless once when we went to US/IOA. It was our first time and had heard bad things about having to use a locker for some rides, etc. So I wore cargo capris with lots of pockets, thinking I could fit wallet, phone/camera in plastic bag, smokes (I know :sad2:), lip balm, and comb and be ahead of the game. Well, turns out when you have extra weight in your lightweight cargos AND go on one of the many water rides as IOS, your now overweight cargos want to head south, if ya know what I mean :smooth:. Sooo, now I use a rucksack (sp?). Lesson learned the hard way.

MB, hand sanitiser, tissues, camera, phone, medicine and a little money. All fit in a small pouch. I stopped using a handbag after a few days because I realised I never used half of the stuff I was lugging around.

I carry (or my husband carries) a Baggalini cross-body.
*autograph book and pen
*water bottles
*sunscreen
*ponchos
*First Aid kit: Advil, Band-Aids, Immodium, anti-emetic, moleskin, tissues, lip balm
*cell phone
*snacks like goldfish crackers, granola bars, pretzels, etc.
*hand sanitizer
*Handi-Wipes
*Lysol Wipes (travel package)

Since the Hub is looking so nice with its grassy areas I might bring a 31 stadium blanket for a place to sit to watch Wishes and the parade!

We wear hats and sunglasses at all times. I carry a separate camera bag with my DSLR and waterproof cameras plus their battery packs, extra SD cards, and mini-tripod.

That is funny - I am DEFINITELY thinking of going bagless at US/IOA, but you have a good point. Last time, we were so wet after one of the rides that I actually purchased us both new clothes. We were much closer to "Who pushed you in the pool?" than "Well, that was a fun splash." This was in December, too.

Now that the girls are older
*water bottle
*ID + a CC/GC + a small amount of cash
*phone w/portable charger + zip-loc
*RA meds + general ibuprofen for family
*sunscreen
*anti-bac
*band-aids (I LOVE how they are called "plasters" in other countries)
*small snack
*rain protection
*floppy hat

In a "daypack" backpack

Will add: deodorant, feminine products

I usually carry a small/medium backpack. This year the park bag is evolving a bit:

  • Poop bags and dispenser
  • Treats
  • Disney's kibble (for dinner)
  • Chew toy for downtime
  • collapsable bowls for water and food
  • snacks (cheez-itz and fruit snacks)
  • water bottle (side pouches)
  • sunscreen
  • phone
  • wallet
  • misting fan
  • collapsable jacket in a bag (its super awesome!)
I think that's all I can remember.... if I think of anything else I'll add it!

When I went to IOA, I used a small pack that strapped around my waist ("fanny pack"). I was embarrassed to wear one, but I was able to keep it on during all rides and not have to use a locker. I got it in the luggage department at Target for under $10.

At Disney, I always carry a small crossbody, though! I am able to keep it on during all rides as well, and it contains:
-Phone
-Sunglasses
-Camera (though from now on I may just use my phone)
-Autograph book and pen
-Small med kit: excedrin migraine, ibuprofen, dramamine, bandaids
-Mints
-Small makeup bag with lip balm, mini-brush, bb cream
-Small sunscreen tube
-Hand sanitizer
-Battery operated mini-fan (I'd lose my mind without this!)

I always wear my Disney Vera Bradley crossbody hipster and it is perfect for a Disney trip. Here are some things I keep in in all week...

Phone
Camera
Handful of hard candy
Gum
I have a Beauty & the Beast phone carrier to easily access my phone and it has all of the slots inside for all of my cards like license, debit card, disney visa, MVMCP hard tickets, Disney giftcards.
I hang a small travel hand sanitizer to the outside of the bag for easy use.
Small travel container of ibuprofen
Cash
Sunglasses

This bag has quite a few pockets so everything isn't just thrown into it together. I can have it organized for the whole trip and I love that since I am OCD when it comes to organization lol.

We go without a bag, have been doing it for years. In my pockets are my wallet and iPhone that's it. Maybe Chapstick.

The water rides at IOA are no joke. You get totally soaked. We thought we were so smart sticking a change of clothes in a locker before riding... we forgot to bring a towel so had to put dry clothes on wet bodies.

If I have my dslr with me I use a Lowepro sling bag, the Passport III. I carry my camera and maybe 1 extra lens, cash/id etc, sunblock, advil/dramamine, wipes, water, phone

If I'm not bringing my dslr I use my pockets and maybe a small crossbody bag for sunblock, phone and p&s camera. Really don't need anything else.
