What is in your bag?

I carry a Baggalini. In it I usually carry: Chapstick, room key card, Disney Gift Cards, Disneyland ticket to get in, phone, Disneyland admission ticket, Band Aid blister cream, sunscreen stick, small amt. of cash, pennies and quarters for pressed penny machines if you want.

The pre-assembled sandwich rule seems so random to me. Any idea why?

i have no idea and i'm not sure how strict they actually are about it. maybe they feel it could lead to people selling food to other guests? that's the only thing i can think of.

I'm assuming so people don't offer food to other guests maybe? Im assuming that's the Disney mindset.

Disney is strict about requiring sandwiches to be pre-made. If you bring the bread and fixings unmade, they ask you to get a locker in the picnic area. From what I've been told, there used to be an ongoing problem with people bringing in food to sell to other guests and CMs (this was before CMs had other choices back stage). Years ago, we actually witnessed someone bring in a large bag of take out containers from somewhere close by and hand them off to other people. Cash was exchanged each time. I can understand why Disney would like to discourage this practice.

That makes sense. That's crazy. Its weird to think people would buy food from random strangers.

I can't believe that!! Well, actually I can. Some people's kids... :sad2:

In my bag: Sunglasses, sunglasses soft case that also cleans lenses, sunblock, hand sanitizer, phone, wallet, mini first aid kit, advil, hair brush, and camera.

In family backpack: Snacks galore, zip lock bags (kids never finish their treats), a bottle of water (we get water for free at counter service places), usually sweatshirts for all of us and depending on weather hats for the kids, and mints.

I use a Harvey Disney crossbody bag for me and a standard backpack that my DH and I take turns carrying.

Soft case for sunglasses (which basically live on my face all day), sunblock (reapply often), water bottle, phone, keys, small hair brush, tylenol or ibuprofen (though if I forget this I know to visit First-Aid!), Tums, chapstick, compact, mints/gum, granola bars or other small snacks, wallet.

I have a little Kipling bag I use sometimes which includes a spot for my keys/money, but I need to compact my items if I use it. (Lose the sunblock, sunglass case, less snacks, etc.) Lately I've been using a Fossil cross-body that is a little bigger and manages to hold everything, but still small enough to take on rides.

For myself, I wear a nerdy Disneyland fanny pack. Inside = ID, credit card, chapstick, phone, point and shoot camera, kleenex, purell, medication, hotel room key, mints, extra rubberband for my hair.

If needed, I will bring a sweatshirt and/or sunscreen. We've rented a locker before, as needed.

Now that we have a toddler, we bring a stroller with a small backpack in the basket underneath. Inside bag = diapers, wipes, extra outfit, snack, sunscreen, hand/face wipes, sweatshirt.

We also bring in a bottle of water or two.

In my backpack I keep a backup battery to charge my phone, water bottle, shades, and a baseball hat.
