What is good for lunch/snacks at Blizzard/Typhoon waterparks?

We are doing the water parks for the first time (my kids are going to FREAK - I'm keeping it secret from them, they've begged to do them on our last two trips!) so what is good for lunch there? And snacks? We are going OOP this time so we aren't so concerned with getting the best value out of a dining plan, moreso want to find the tastiest food

If the CS options are all pretty grim, we may just snack at lunchtime and then do an earlier dinner but I don't want to waste our money if the food is terrible.

I personally think the food at the water parks are pretty poor. There isnt much choice, just your normal burger/hot dog and fries. I cant even remember what we had at Blizzard beach but at Typhoon Lagoon we did have a good pulled pork sandwich.

I think your idea of snacking and then having an early dinner is best.

I do recommend the refillable cups though for drinks. Its around $9 dollers and then there are fountain machines all around the park

We got this with most of what comes in it, and enjoyed sharing it between the 4 in our family at that time. Very yummy. One of those things the kids still talk about.

Oh my gosh at typhoon lagoon! Mini donuts! they sell the most amazing mini donuts. pretty basic but covered in sugar(no icing or anything) sugar ones are the best they do cinnamon too, and they are always served warm an fresh! you have to try them!

We ate at Typhoon Tilly's at TL and had the bbq sandwich. I thought it was very good. DD had the hot dog meal that comes in the sand bucket.

Absolutely the mini-donuts! They are freshly-made and sold only at the water parks.
