What is good for a 20 month old to ride on with Big Sister?

Hey everyone! We are taking our first trip to Disneyland the end of April for my daughters 5th birthday. Our 20 month old son will be coming too and I am wondering what he can ride on with big sister? I of course will be with them and can hold him if need be, just wondering what his options are.

Thanks so much everyone, we are soooo excited to be going! I think I need to do a countdown calendar or something for my daughter as EVERY DAY she asks if we are going tomorrow....

He will be able to ride the majority of the rides, just not the faster, roller coaster type rides. All of Fantasyland and Bugs Land (DCA), and sporadic rides throughout both parks, including Small World, Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Winnie the Pooh, Toy Story Midway Mania, Monsters, Inc, etc. Plus the shows are great for all ages too, except It's Tough to Be a Bug is sometimes scary for young kids. On the Disneyland.com website there's a link with height requirements, anything without one is fine. Have a great trip! :wizard:

I think pretty much all of the Fantasyland dark rides plus Winnie the Pooh in Critter Country would be good. Snow White's Scary Adventures and the last scene in Mr. Toad's Wild Ride frighten a lot of kids, but it all depends on the individual child, of course. I hope you have a wonderful time!

To be specific - one fun ride that a lot of people overlook is the Casey Jr Circus Train. The entire family can ride together in one of the "cage cars" - labeled either Monkeys or Wild Animals - makes a great photo op!

I think Heimlich's Chew Chew Train in DCA would be a good choice. It moves slowly and is extremely cute.

I think Pooh would be a good choice. DD and DS can ride in one seat, you can sit behind them and keep an eye on them.

I think the list of rides a 2 and 5 year old CAN'T go on is actually shorter than rides they can go on. So that's good. But I think you'll have to sit with your 2 year old on most of them for safety reason.

I don't want to be a wet blanket but i don't know if they will let a not yet 2 year old and a 5 year old ride by themselves on rides. :confused3 I'm only saying this so you know you may need to hold your son.

I just want you to be prepared in case they don't let them ride together alone.

I hope you have a happy happy trip and may your daughter be blessed this year and always, what a super great mom you are to take her to disney for her birthday!:cheer2:

Thanks again everyone! Chew Chew is on my list for sure now!

FairyKin, for sure I am riding with them, I am just trying to figure out what the whole family can ride on as opposed to just me and my daughter (leaving dad with my son). Thanks, yeah, he is way to young to ride alone on anything still, hoping he has fun too on this trip.
