What is going on with the AKL/AKV

Hi- I am looking to book in the AKL/AKV and do not know about construction. Is it obstructing views? loud? Please help fill me in..

We stayed at AKV Dec. 20-26.

We never heard any construction noise at all.

The only time we saw construction was when we went looking for it, to see how it is progressing. The construction area was nowhere in sight of our room....Room #5401. From our room, all we could see was the pool.

Honestly, if I were not a DVC member, & did not know about the construction going on...I would've never even known it was going on.

I talked to a CM the other day and he said it really isn't affecting guests much at this point. He said in some areas of the hotel you can stand outside and look far away and see construction but it's really not directly affecting guests of the lodge.
