What is going on May 30-31 2009???

Every hotel around the DTD area that I've tried to book for this one night doesn't have rooms available!! (With the exception of Hotel Royal Plaza..which I guess I"m going to go ahead and book in fear that it will book up too!!!!)

Is there something going on at DTD at this time??

I think it may be Memorial Day weekend. Or it's everyone in town to celebrate my Birthday! May 30th!

Where are you looking? I found availability at Best Western Lake Buena Vista, Royal Plaza and Buena Vista Palace for that night. Also availability at all the Marriott Village hotels.
Remember when looking for availability, when you go on a hotel website and they show nothing, it doesn't necessarily mean the hotel is booked. Consolidators contract with hotels and block space, and often times you can find a room there instead.

I actually just went ahead and booked the Royal Plaza. Found a pretty good deal. Ended up being about $70 less than what I thought I was going to have to pay. I REALLY wanted the Hilton...but oh well.
