What is going on June 29?

I just started looking a couple days ago for my daughter, and Pop was full for 6/29, but bookable 6/30-7/7. Is there some big event or happening? Usually the middle of the week is not hard to grab. Or is that normal now? Are they fumigating the resort that day? Is there a competition filling the resort?
Is everyone coming on 6/29 to see the Tina Turner tribute band?

I know for the past few years, my sister and I have arrived on 6/29 for our July 4 trip. I think people looking for a typical 6 night, 7 day package for July 4 check in on the 29 so they can check out on July 5. I know a lot of people also arrive on 7/2 and 7/3 for the holiday. Pretty much any time from 7/29-7/4 you're going to have spotty availability. You could book Pop from the 30th - 7th and have them stay their first night in another resort? Looking this far out and so close to the dates, you're going to get spotty availability across the board so you may have to do a split stay to get in all the dates they want to be there.
