I went on line to check prices for Royal Pacific for Feb 13-Feb 18th...I am given the same exact prices for "just the room" as for the room AND two tickets for up to seven days at the parks...WHAT'S THIS?:confused3

Ya, they sometimes do that for the highest prices. It is usually a better deal to get AAA or AP rates and buy your own tickets.

So...they charge the same whether you have your tickets to the parks or not? We already have our tickets....and our AAA cards....I guess I should wait to see if the prices come down? If they charge the same regardless if you have tickets or not...it would seem most people would opt to include the tickets..and save the ones they already purchased....:confused3 Whew! I don't know what to do now...I guess I should just keep watching and wait?

Where are you going to get a quote that includes tickets? I went to www.universalorlando.com, and can't even get the Royal Pacific to come up for your dates when I check for Vacation Packages.

I typed in Royal Pacific Orlando Florida..and went on the site. I left the information at my cottage(printed it out and left it there) and am now home...The total with tax was around $1,485.00 give or take a few dollars...I could choose the one with two tickets per room or for just the room only....for the same amount. When I called last week...I was given a different amount. I showed it to one of my sons and my husband...My son wasn't happy about the price and my husband said to do what I wanted...I don't know WHAT I want to do any more....:confused3 I figured that I would make reservations for our dates...then, when the AAA discounts (hopefully) came out....I'd call them up to apply them....At this point, I don't know what to figure....

Ig you have AAA, go on their web site and look for rooms. We want to go the week after Easter and the room through AAA was a lot cheaper than on the Universal website.

It never hurts to look.

Are you checking March 2008 or was this for last Easter? When I check through www.universalorlando.com and when logging in to AAA site, I get the same rate for a night either the week before Easter (when we're going) or the week after Easter (when you're going). I come up with $324 for Royal Pacific which is really too expensive! I'd love to figure out exactly how you came up with a cheaper rate using AAA. Exactly how are you checking and what is the rate you get? Thanks!

call and talk to a tm directly.
you can ask when the aaa / ap rates will be out.

book now and modify your rate when the discounts become known.

i stopped booking on line years ago.
i get better deals when working directly with a tm on the phone.

it usually is much cheaper to book everything separate than do a package.
you have to do the math to see which one is more advantageous for you and the fam.
