what is food like at Akershus-Norweign dinner

So some of my party are very fussy eaters, and i really want to do the princess meal here. However, most of us are not big breakfast eaters and try to do our TS for lunch or dinner. I am most concerned that food for the fussy may not be good here. Should we stick to bf or take chances on finding something at dinner or lunch?

Went there for princess lunch. Oh let's see; first there is a smorgsbord kind of thing with smoked salmon, deviled eggs, various salads, fruit, you know. Its a help yourself thing. Then the menu features the usual stuff. Cheese ravioli, a chicken, a fish (baked salmon as I recall), and maybe some kind of sandwich. Sides of veggies. Desserts were quite good and you get a plate of all of them. I'm sure you can find the menu on the web. It is neither stellar nor horrid. Its like many disney places; designed to appeal to the largest number of people. We saw Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Belle, and Ariel. Hard to beat that line-up with little girls.

Dh and I are both fussy eaters too. We (along with our kids) ate here this past September. Here's what we thought:

Food was not the greatest. I did like the bread and cheeses on the cold buffet. I don't like salads or cold seafood so I didn't care for anything else on the buffet. For my entree, I got the bbq tips with corn bread. It was okay. The bbq tips weren't at all wierd or exotic or anything, just not prepared the best. The bbq tips were very tough, and the corn bread dry. I did love the dessert tray, that was really good (I have a major sweet tooth). The princess part of it was great!! My girls loved it. This is actually the only meal we're re-doing in our upcoming Sept trip because my daughters were so excited to meet the princesses.

We really liked the dinner. AT dinner they have peel and eat shrimp on the buffet, breads, cheeses, and cold cuts like turkey and ham that were very good. There were regular old salads like pasta and potato salad and cut up fruit. My kids are very picky and found plenty. I had the salmon and for anyone who likes salmon it was good just a mild honey mustard glaze and crispy breadcrumbs. My DH had a meatloaf dish that he really enjoyed. Things may have a strange name but for the most part things were picky eater friendly. This was one of our favorite meals and the desserts were great.
