What is fear factor live?

I read somewhere that there was a new attraction at US called fear factor. Is it open yet? What is it? THANKS!!!!

Believe it opens June 4th or so.
I know there was a mention of an AP event June 2nd & 3rd, so probably the 4th/5th or so it will be open.
It's just like the TV show, contestents do three events and see who can last until the end. In the 2nd event, they are probably going to eat something nasty, so if you have a weak stomach, I would wait for some reviews.

It's just another show, in a long list most parks are doing to try and bring guests in, without spending much money.

Only BGT has a new roller coaster this year.

Fear factor did an episode at universal last week, it was fun to watch being as i was just there

What day did they do an episode last week. DRAT!!! I was there last week, but we also went to all the other parks.

The episode was filmed back in January, but it aired on TV last week.

This one worries me. I can't stand to watch people eat grotesque stuff but DS would probably love it. Oh well, I can always close my eyes.

Where is fear factor located? I belive it is in US not IOA but where exactly is it in the park? I have never been but since we will be there only one day I have been looking at a map of the park to know exactly where to go and when but fear factor is not on the map.

It is in Universal Studios .. it's in the old Wild Wild West stadium thing. Back near MIB.

I haven't heard any mention of prizes. I suppose you can have bragging rights and an interesting vacation story.

I though the real Fear Factor was seeing overweight tourists in thongs at the hotel pool!

Not sure about prizes, but in front of the theater for FF, there is a casting booth set up where people who are interested in participating in the show go to be "Cast" in the show.

I just found out about this last night at dinner. Friends with someone who is in charge of costuming the participants et al for this attraction. Press event was very early this morning. So far only employees are doing the stunts, and from what I asked last night no prizes have been determined.

That's what I have right now. I'll try to find out more and let you know!

It opens June 2 (tomorrow). There will be 4 shows on Friday (tomorrow) and 4 shows on Saturday. The 11:00 AM show is only for annual passholders and their guests.
