Just showed some pictures of the Mountains up North of me, and the leaves are changing.:o Here in Miami, its a little breezy and HOT!

Most of the leaves have changed and a good stiff wind will have them falling all over the ground. The nights are cold (some colder than others) but the days can be either chilly or downright hot. It's very hard to dress kids for school because it's cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon.

We are going to a high school football game tonight... it's a nice night and we're looking forward to sitting in the bleachers sipping hot chocolate!

Here is Southern California it is HOT today at my house it is 90 degrees in the shade. We can have hot weather like this (and some big winds) until November. Hot and dry - our fall colors are brown!!!

Here in London, Uk its a little chilly. Its been raining off and on all week intermingled with bright, bright sunshine and is typical UK weather:rolleyes: Its hard to know what to put on in the mornings.

Wheezie

Here in mid-Michigan we're enjoying a day in the 70's......they will be coming to an end soon!!!:(

We had a couple of "brisk" mornings, but now it's back to the same 'ole Texas heat:sunny:

So what is this thing called "Fall"? Here in Texas we have 2 seasons...summer and h e double hockey sticks:smooth:

Here in Massachusetts we've already had one frost. The leaves are beautiful, yellows, tangerines, crimsons. It was down to 29 degrees the night before last, but today we were back up to 72 degrees. I love fall in New England. Crisp cool nights are great for snuggling under the covers, and bright sunny days!

What's Fall??

I'm from California - we have no "real" seasons - everything just turns brown and it gets a little colder and sometimes we get rain.

We have beautiful falls here in Maryland. The leaves are just starting to change here, I think they peak in 2-3 more weeks. We had some chilly temps at night lately, but it warms up during the day.

I miss Fall. :(

Today is just another warm, sunny day, but at least there are no weather disasters looming out there for my area. There is no real Fall season here in Florida. Some leaves will turn brown and fall off, but not until December. And they don't turn the pretty colors first that WeluvDisney2 speaks of and I remember so fondly.

princess:

Here in Oregon (i'm in the valley) the trees are starting to change color. Temperature has ranged this week from 61 as I type to 80 on Wednesday. We are getting rain showers now and through the weekend. It will be like this till mid november. Then we get more of the rain and less of the sunny days.

In the mountains the trees are loosing thier leaves getting ready for the snow.

It is quite beautiful. I love living here because we get all four seasons ::yes::

Here in SE Pennsylvania the nights are cooler now, but the days have been in the 70's. The leaves are just beginning to change. Some mornings after the leaves are in their full colors I just marvel at how lucky I am to witness this year after year. Some folks pay to travel to see what I can take in just by driving to work!

Yeah, it's the little things that I love.....

It's majestic. I live in the mountains and I love watching as the trees change. There's nothing like a clear blue sky on a crisp day with the hills ablaze in color.

The temperatures are dropping, although it's pretty warm again today. I've needed a light jacket this past week.

This is my absolute favorite time of year. :D :D :D

Here the palm trees are as green as ever and temps are around 89 during the day and drop into the low 70s at night. I really miss fall in Wisconsin.

Easily one of the most beautiful parts of the country this time of year :)
It's not peak foliage yet - we're a week or 2 behind northern new england. The weather is gorgeous - 60's and 70's during the day. Down in the 40's at night.

Today it is rainy, but 70. Leaves are starting to fall...I baked some bread cause it sounded like the appropriate thing to do.

I think baking bread would ALWAYS be appropriate! LOL!!

Fall? We have fall? Really fall is the height of hurricane season. Still hot and humid during the day and maybe a bit less hot at night but not much. Might cool off just before Thanksgiving if we are lucky.

Florida does not have FALL, just HOT HOT HOT till about Jan 5th.:p This is why I asked what Fall was like everywhere else.:p

Poohbear123, you just had to go and pour salt in the wound, didn't ya???!!! DH and I just came in off the terrace 'cause the mosquitoes were sooo bad! Earlier today we visited a lake with our new puppy but gave up strolling due to the terrible heat! I've been putting the thermostat down real low, baking gingerbread and burning Yankee Candles with holiday smells.... "pretending" to be somewhere north of here. I can dream! :teeth:
