I am interested on everyone's take on value, quality etc... I would love to hear feedback from anyone who has actually taken one of these vacations.

It looks good in the brochure for prospective new owners.

I requested the large brochure they have - very nice, bTW - the prices are amazingly expensive - but what would you expect? I don't know the points required - but i can imagine they are way up there!!!! I suppose if you don't want to have to plan anything, and want someone to take care of your vacation for you - it would be a great way to go. We don't vacation like that - I don't like having schedules everyday! So it wouldn't work for us.
The accomodations are 1st class, the dining looks excellent, and they have special times for kids and grown-ups to be away from each other. The sites they are going to all look worthwhile. But the $$$$$ and schedules aren't our style!

They're not too far beyond what I would have expected, given the other "adventure" options they had available in the past.

They look nice but are awfully pricy!!

For my family of 4 it would cost near 10G to do the Quest for the West. OUCH!

I can do MONTHS in Italy for the price of ONE of those trips! I think they must be VERY profitable, but I am not intersted for those prices.

I think they ignored my comments when I did a survey on this a few years back...they floated prices and they seemed extraordinarily high in the survey and it appears they are still way too high for me...The trips look great -but I think you could put together as good a trip with a little effort for a fraction of the cost....you are paying a huge premium for the convenience and whatever little Disney extras they most likely throw in...as is their usual style.

The London - Paris itinerary looks incredible, especially if, like us, you want to visit both cities while travelling with children. The package includes first class accommodations, great meals, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the "Mary Poppins" the Musical, river boat tours, crossing the Chunnel, Notre Dame, a Louvre adventure for the kids, Versailles, a mini Tour de France, and dinner in the Eiffel Tower. Talk about memorable.

It's not cheap but, as with most things Disney, I always seem to get what I pay for.

Or perhaps yours was a minority perspective.

We would love to do them but we would have to mortgage the house in order to afford them. The prices are way to expensive for a family of 5. I wish that they had some lower level trips for a family of our size.

The problem is that Disney would then face complaints of the trips not living up to Disney's reputation.

Apparently they are really private too. I read somewhere they only have spots for less than 50 people at a time. This would mean really direct contact/attention with your guide/vacation host. I do agree though that the costs are high. Costa Rica is on my vacation list, so was excited to hear that Disney was offering it. Although I trust there ability to make my vacation top notch, I will definately look elsewhere to get my vacation for about half that price.
