I almost joined the Holiday swap - I only allow myself one swap at a time
as soon as I get this one in the mail then I can join another otherwise I'll be way to stressed out about them.

I'll still peek at the thread to see what everyone came up with

I still have one group to think up what to do then decide which groups get what

you are very disciplined to do that....I don't think there are any other swaps on the books for the rest of the year so we can deal with all the holiday's.
I want to finish theses both up in the next couple of days, finish my friends album I'm scrapping for her, think I have about 20 pages to finish and then NEED to start my xmas cards!!

I'm working on our family cruise from June, then finishing up our Disney 2008 album. All of our other Disney trips/vacation albums are done...for some reason I got stuck on 2008 and haven't gone back to to finish it.

you are very disciplined to do that....I don't think there are any other swaps on the books for the rest of the year so we can deal with all the holiday's.
I want to finish theses both up in the next couple of days, finish my friends album I'm scrapping for her, think I have about 20 pages to finish and then NEED to start my xmas cards!!

I think there was a make-up swap that I wanted to join if I wasn't stressed about everything else - should be pretty much general theme park stuff

It's just road block. Honestly.

It was just kind of a crummy trip (worst trip ever) and I think I just got sick of scrapping it. I'm over halfway done, and just set it aside and haven't picked it up again. Plus, I'm digitally scrapping other stuff and just haven't taken the time to dig out my paper supplies in awhile.

I just finished up my angel spots on the Park/Lands swap.. those are bag/tagged/postage in the box and the box is ready to be taken to the PO tomorrow.. I've already printed the postage!

Taking photos of my paper doll groups that are done (I'm completely finished with that project)..
While cleaning tonight I need to find my sketch/plan ideas for the DHS swap...

I'm going to pull DHS papers for my groups
SCRAP my own pages for the first time in like forever!! (the beginning of the month)

Celebrating my baby girl's 18th birthday!!! WE are doing breakfast/brunch out...
Then some shopping
maybe scrap later that afternoon

Hoping to be able to get a bit of the everyday swap done. It'll. Be rough with my parents visiting. But they will be gone by Sunday afternoon so I should be able to make a respectable showing. Plus I'm off work until wed, I'll have plenty of time to catch up.

I was hoping to get a lot of scrapping and swap items done this weekend. My Cardinals have been distracting me so much this month!!! Yeah!!! World Series winners!!! Now we will have the victory parade, celebrations, etc., so probably not too much crafty time. I am not complaining though. I really want to get a good start on my DHS spots though if I have some free time

Going to a crop today - Supposed to be from 11 to 9, but snow is predicted for the afternoon, so i'm betting I'll be home before 9.

Don't know WHAT i'm working on - which for me is very unusual. I'm the one who always has the pages kitted and the titles cut and on strips of Xyron. Not this time. I have a shoe box of photos and NO enthusiasm. Already did a mini of the trip so i'd have something to show, AND kept a journal in which I pasted "stuff" as I went. Just the thought of a 12 x 12 album makes me want to bury my head under the covers.

Christmas card project is also packed, but the problems I had with the cricut have derailed that. I'm ready to chuck the whole thing and just buy cards.

Then, I have a chipboard mini kit from CKC in 2009 packed. That's what I actually might wind up working on -then it will be ready to give to a 'wish' kid.

Doesn't look like much is going to get done - too many choices, too little focus

Almost done my Dec 2010 trip (Have about 5 pages left) it won't get done but close. Then I am moving on to Xmas 2010 and then I will be in the current year!!

no scrappin here this weekend. I'm doing the community dinner and halloween party. I think I must have bee out of my mind on this one bite off
WAY more than I can handle with everyone just having been sick. I've got food cooking now waiting for it to warm up a bit before we head to the church and cemetary for decorating. Got to get the blast furnace dug out since thee is no heat in the church!!!! Still have to cook 2 more more sides but I have kitchen help coming at 12 so I'm going to let her handle that and the warming of everything.
off to gather up the last of the stuff.

This week was a total washout craft-wise with my sick kitty. So, this weekend after a couple quick errands and chores, I'm chaining myself to my dining room table and chair and working on the sketch swap. I've got all my sketches picked out and 99% of my supplies bought, so I just need to sit down and bang those puppies out

We're expecting 2-5 inches of SNOW tonight into tomorrow. Good weekend to stay indoors and craft.

and working a december album, not doing a daily one, but getting the highlights of the month prepared like trimming the tree, hanging the lights, church service, baking cookies, visitors, and then,......

need some other ideas for pages to fill in since the weather will be sunny and bright, no snow shots, we are not traveling this year, I am not making homemade cards....

any prompts for me?

hopefully there was some good in with the bad, I can say it was a better trip than I had that year since I didn't go to Disney until 2010 & didn't get a vacation before that trip. Bad always seems to stay in our minds longer than the good - at least it makes you really enjoy the good trips since then

maybe once you get there something will get you going again at least you can be with friends so enjoy the people you are with -- maybe use the journel as part of the pages - use a big font then that will take up alot of space so maybe just a picture that goes with the journeling

what is wrong with the cricut?? I'm changing cutters when mine dies - no idea what yet -- maybe resetting it would help (I don't remember how to do that - moving the carrier, turning the dials & pushing a button but I don't remember which order)

Snow??? it is too early for snow - I usually get maybe 2 inches late Dec thur Jan sometimes alittle later in the year (was shocked the year we got it for Easter but got some pictures of Blue bonnets in the snow)

Congrats on the countdown - I'm hoping for next June for us (got to pay off credit card first) so post picture when you go so I can see the crowd level then maybe go back to my end of August time

hmmm other ideas - maybe a snow scene but have everyone in the family looking up hoping for snow (or getting the fluff from a craft store & making a fake snowman)

light looking, sining carols, shopping(how crazy are we going into the mall??) school programs, hot chocolate time

Gonna get snowed in here too. Anywhere from 5-10. I'm not happy!!!!!
Need to move the RV and trailer to prep for snow removal.
Then clean house today.
Tomorrow I plan to finish the character swap, start and attempt to finish paper dolls and work on my 365 album.
