What is everyone doing about hoping for free dining in Sept?

FYI - When we were there at the end of Nov /early Dec., we booked at POP for Aug 7th-14th and at that time, they were offering free dining if you booked your next rip before check out - which we did. I think the time frame was Aug 6 - Sept 29th but I could be wrong. So anyway, I would think they MAY be offering it again!

I booked mine while I was there in December, too! I booked for 8/26-9/2. I think the dates were 8/5-9/29, if I can recall. These dates might differ from what is offered to the general public if it is announced.

I was told if they offer it to the general public, it will be end of March/early April. KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED!!!!

That was in response to WDW 1st timers, not me!(the concieving in Disney)

Yeah I know...I can't wait to bring her back. I had alot of problems prior to her so in my eyes 2005 was my "Year Of A Million Dreams".:thumbsup2

I've been debating this, but I think I'll probably go ahead and book. I'm sure that we will go even without free dining, so I might as well book now.

We are thinking of going Sept 22-30th.. if there is free dining.. If not. the rest of the family wants to change to the end of Oct.

I was thinking that our 180 mark (if we go in Sept) is March 26th.. That may be before they even announce the free dining.. SO...

If we are getting close to the 180 day mark, I may book a ressie so I can call about ADR's at Hoop De Doo and the Pirate Adventure for the kids... and I'm thinking that the ADR's will stand even if we have to tweak our reservation to get the free dining.. Am I right ?

Then, worst case.. no free dining.. I will at least have a new 180 day mark to call for the end of Oct! And I can try again.

Ahhhh! My head is spinning!!!

I booked for September because that is the best time for our family to go. I don't care if we get free dining or not(although it would be nice) we are still going! I guess it would save us quite a bit of $ for our family of 6.

Free dining was also offered to residents of the UK for the same time frame. So that is also more rooms being filled. So between that offer and the offer for the guests who already stayed on property to return again with free dining, I'm not so sure if they are going to offer it to the general public. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Last year we booked with the dinning plan, and when the free dinning was annouced, our travel agent changed our reservation so we could take advantage of it. September is historically a very slow season not only because of school but because of hurricane season. Best time to be at WDW though. :cutie:
