What is "Disney's Winter Thaw"

I just made a reservation at the All Stars for January to take advantage of the special rate and my confirmation states "includes Disney's Winter Thaw."

Any idea what this is?

I think that is just the name of the general code that Disney has out for the next value season that ends Feb 12, 2003.
