Looking to go back and visit discovery cove, last time I visited it was early October and the weather was perfect. Has anyone gone in November before, would it be too cold to go swimming? I noticed there aren’t as many dates to select for that time of year.

Any advice is appreciated!

I went in early Dec a few years ago. It was totally fine. The reef & dolphin lagoon "feel" warmer when the air is chillier. We stayed the whole day as per usual and didn't alter our activities of choice due to the weather (ie, we spent the same amount of time in the water in early Dec (maybe 70 out?) as during late Feb (80 out) and late Apr (90 out)).

I went many times during hot weather. Seems perfect right? Well the water the fish are in is COLD, for them. It was really hard to toughen up and enter each time. I asked about winter, surely it is worse, and they said no.

One December I got a great deal $99 (no dolphin) and the whole family went to just snorkle and chill. WOW, the water doesn't feel cold at all. We were going in and out, and it was a great day. Last time I went in February, same, no problem with water temps. I probably won't book in hot weather ever again.

Thank you, the coral reef section was closed when I went due to a hurricane. So I’m looking forward to doing that hopefully.

I do remember the dolphin pool being freezing! I have heard it’s difficult to adjust in hot weather. That’s good to know it isn’t as bad in the later months.
