I've seen on the boards alot about disney dining experience card. What is that and how does it work? Also, we are looking at doing the disney dining plan (the basic one) - so would it be worth getting the DDE anyways? Should we just do the DDE and not worry about the disney dining plan? Do both?

Thanks in advance.

First, the DDE is only for annual passholders or FL residents. It may be a moot point if you don't qualify in the first place.

The DDE card gives you 20% off your entire bill (including adult beverages) at virtually all sit-downs at WDW and also includes the food courts at the All-Stars and Pop, as well as the counter service at AK (since those locations do not have Disney-owned sit-downs).

The MYW Plus Dining is a package add on (you must book a room/ticket package to add it) and it costs $35/day/adult, and $10/day/child, which entitles each of you to one counter service meal (with dessert), one sit-down meal (appetizer, entree, dessert) and one "snack".

Hope this helps clarify!
