What is considered a "Package"

JUst wondering what the smallest "package" Disney offers that allows you to add on the DDP. We already have leftover days from our non-expiring tickets, and we don't want to buy more park tickets to qualify for the DDP. I have heard of adding something like mini golf to a room only rate to make it a "package" while waiting for the '07 rates to come out. Can You add the DDP to this? Now that the rates are available do you have to buy park tickets in order to take advantage of DDP???

If you are hoping for the free DDP if offered then a "package" would be a room reservation and at the least a 1-day major park ticket for each guest. You can add the DDP to any room reservation for $37.99 per guest per night.

A package also includes rack rate room in most cases.

I heard you could not add the dinning plan to a room reservation- you had to purchase something else- I thought park tickets,but we already have park tickets so I was hoping to get something smaller...

There is no getting around purchasing a one day ticket for the Dining Plan, unless you are a DVC member. Makes me sad, been waiting since last November to book a package and ticket prices went up twice.

The OP is wanting a MYW +Dine package. But tickets have to be attached to those packages. That means buying at least a 1 Day park ticket for each adult/child in the group over age 3.

DVC-ers can buy the DDP without tickets, if they use their points at a WDW DVC resort on that same res.

There are packages with a room and only free mini-golf attached. But you can't buy that and then pay extra for DDP (or get it for free).
