I've heard this stuff mentioned on here from time to time.

What is it, what is it used for, where do I buy it, and do I need it?

Leaving in 6 days :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: & starting to think about packing.

Thanks!

:worship: Body glide is like a deodorant stick filled with magic LOL. Runners use it to reduce friction and rubbing of there hips when there doing there runs. I am pooh sized and body glide is the best to help prevent painful chafing of your inner thighs or any place skins meets skin. I also used it to form a blister barrier between me and my crocs just in case. Let me tell you this stuff works great. You can buy it at many sporting good stores and if you look on the above posters link you can find stores where it is sold in. Heres what you need to ask yourself have you ever had your inner thighs hurt and rubbed raw after a day walking in the heat? Do your feet easily blister while wearing sandals? Is there any other area of your body that gets all red and uncomfortable after a long workout? If you suffer from what I like to call chub rub then body glide is your ultimate preventative measure.I got mine at Dicks sporting goods. Have fun on your trip:)

I couldn't find it near me so I bought Band Aid Blister Block at CVS. Not sure how it compares to Body Glide, but it worked well on my last trip. Zero blisters, and I always got them on my "pinky" toes every previous trip. Love it, will never go without.

I've read you can use stick deodorant, but have never tried it. Something about mixing feet w/ other parts of my body....I'm funny that way

I find deodorant works really well... that along with running socks that are low friction and breathe well, and shoes that are broken in. I have used body glide as well, lemme say this, body glide and crocs do not mix well. but body glide with regular socks and shoes does.

It's a relief to know what it actually is cos it sounded just disgusting!!!
