Is shelling out the $$ for the night thing better or is it better to wake up early . Keep in mind I have twin 6 year olds. What do you do?
Thanks

EMH! It's free and Fantasy Land is open. You will get far more done in those first 3 hours (8am-11am) than you can get done during E-night's 3 hours and only the big rides are open during E-night at opposite ends of the park.

We find that with kids, early is always better than late.

I am not sure if they are going to continue to offer the Eride nights or not as they are now experimenting on the extra magic hours at night at selected parks on selected nights. We were there this past Sat - Tues and we were able to take advantage of both the nights which they were offering the extended 3 hours (to resort guests only). Epcot was open until Midnight Sunday and MGM til Midnight on Tuesday (if I remember days and hours correctly). MGM was to have the extra hour in the morning but they took it away. Suited us just fine as we welcomed the extra hour sleep. I meant to ask a CM if they were going to continue with the extra hours you pay for or not and completly forgot. Sorry I can't answer your question better. Also, since we knew the parks were going to be open later we opted to leave the park mid day and take a two hour break at the resort. This really made a big difference! Enjoy whatever you decide to do!

I think since you have small children, EMH would be better for you than E-night. I think EMH has more open rides for kids than e-night does.

cravendisney...just wondering how the EMH at night worked at MGM...did u find it beneficial? Tell me about crowds/lines, etc....thank you!!

We plan on neither on our upcoming trip. The regular park hours are enough for us. No one in my crew is able to get up in time for EMH and feel happy about it. They are on vacation after all. We tried e-ride night on our last trip, but we were able to go the night before we left for home. Our flight was late enough so that we could sleep in. On this trip we want to go to PI on the nights before sleep late days.

With two small children you might want to try MK EMH, if your kids are morning people. We always plan two days for MK and don't have any trouble getting Fantasyland covered by going there first thing one of those days.
