:flower3: We're taveling to WDW 2/09/09 until 02/15/09, could you please help me decide which day would be the best day to visit US & IOA? Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri or Sat? It will be our first time. Thankyou for any advice you could give me.

Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday would be best. We locals tend to take over the parks on weekends. ;)

Thanks so much, one more question does US & IOA have magic hours? If so do you happen to know which days those are? maybe I should avoid those days also. Thanks again!

Universal does not do magic hours
I think the only thing they do is maybe let people into the park 15 to 30 mins early sometimes

We went last Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The best day was Thursday, by far!! The key is to get there early, no matter what day you go. We arrived around 8:15 everyday and were the first people to go thru the turnstiles. We went directly to the Simpsons ride and were the first ones to ride. We rode it three times in a row and then headed over to MIB and walked right on it. We then headed over to The Mummy where we walked right on it. We rode that one three times and headed over to IOA where Hulk had a 5 minute wait, Spiderman 15 minutes and Dueling Dragons 5 minutes. We rode all day long like that!!

The crowd somewhat picked up later in the day but the Mummy was still only a 5 minute wait when we went back over to US. The Simpsons was at 45 minutes at that time.

Just get there early!!:thumbsup2

we rented a car, as we stayed at Dis, and went Tuesday , wednesday and thursday of that week and it was great. little crowds. almost no wait. :goodvibes

Great info, thank you both so much. I think I may follow your ride schedule, it sounds perfect. :cool1:

So what about Feb 9-13th? Would it still be pretty slow and shorter rides during that week?

for most of the year, M-Th are the best days to hit the parks.
if Monday is a holiday, scratch that day and go T- Th.

do friday only if that is your only option.
lines are not bad but not as good as the other weekdays.

I went yesterday and it was very manageable. No attraction had more than a 30 min wait except for the P-Flyers at IOA. I had lunch at Richter's and there was no one in line!

And that was a Sunday so during the week should be pretty good then huh?
Do you go into it blind or do you use an itinerary or anything for certain rides at certain times of the day?

During the week is usually best...weekends are always a crap shoot for crowds.

I've been so many times, I never use any plan...I just go wherever. That's the joy of having an AP and living 20 mins up the road.
;)

Every time we go in the summer, we usually do Sunday through wednesday. Sunday is never busy it seems like
