What is are the toll-free numbers to book ADRs?

I found the toll-free numbers to Disney on this board once and had them on a sticky note that was stuck to my computer. The note fell off, and now I can't find it. I need to change an ADR. Could someone repost these or send a link to the correct thread where the toll-free numbers are?

There are no general toll free numbers at WDW. The number posted is likely paid for by a corporation or organization for the use of their members. If disney had toll free numbers for the general public to use they would be posted on Disney's website

the previously posted 1 800 goes to Disney's booking system and prompts you for trip planning, Dining etc

just as good as calling the florida local

They are the premiere vacation destination- For sheer profit maximization why pay for someone to book with them direct if that person is willing to foot the bill themselves. publishing the 1-800 would add considerable costs to Disney as they would be paying something for every call.

you figure the florida local # likely gets thousands of calls daily and each of those has to cost something . even assume its a penny a call ( I would think it would actually be more ) - thats $10 profit to disney per 1000 calls diverted to the florida local.

Actually I read a long time back that WDW originally had a posted toll-free number. But what happened is that children would call asking to speak to Mickey or one of the other characters so they had to go the 1-407 route. As others have said, the 1-800 number works exactly like the regular one. The only difference is that it is not widely known outside the DIS!

Yes the 800 numbers for disney work just like the regular number but they are not paid for by Disney with the purpose of the general public using them. Generally they are paid for by a company or organization for the use of their members. Some have gotten out on the internet and alot of people use them that they were not intended for. Not a judgement, just information. One post I read a while ago said they used an
800 number they got on the internet and the CM told them it was supposed to be for employees of McDonalds and that they would help them "this time" but not to use it again.

I still don't believe Disney has any 800 numbers for the use of the general public. If they did why wouldn't they publish them? Do you really think they have phone numbers only for people who look around long enough for them to find them?

Thanks to newholidayx2 for posting the 800 number. There's another number as well that starts with 877. If anyone has that one, it would be wonderful to post that, as well. I've called both and it seems to be a general Disney number. It answers saying something like, "Thank you for calling Walt Disney World... If you you have visited Disney World before, push 1. If this is your first trip to WDW, push 2. To speak to a rep. about booking a room, push 1. To make dining reservations, push 2. etc..."

In other words, the number is a general WDW number and you can be connected to the other Disney services from there. There are numerous companies who do this, like eBay and Paypal. They do have a toll-free numbers but don't publish them. I've called other companies toll-free as well when they've only published a regular phone number. Google is your friend to find those free numbers. I couldn't find it for WDW though, but I knew two numbers existed because I had them (but lost them). If I ever find the toll-free 877 number, I'll post it here.

I was given the toll free number from a travel agent, not by scouring the internet.

The 407-WDW-Magic is for CRO, and the toll free number is for the Walt Disney World Travel Company. ADR's can be made through either numbers - there is a voice prompt for dining on both lines, it's not like you're calling a room reservations line and cajoling them into making a dining reservation for you.
