I have an April 2017 Easter cruise booked on DCL. I ddn't book cruise because it was Easter but because it is April vacation for High School daughter and that year the two coincide.

Besides the premium rates how is a Disney cruise at Easter? Will the ship be filled to maximum capacity?

I asked this same question a few years ago. They are pretty much the same as every other cruise. They had a large egg display with disney characters. There was jelly beans in a display in cabanas. The Easter bunny was on board that day and I believe they had some religious service somewhere on the ship. You could order a easter basket ahead but they weren't all that great. That's pretty much it.

I sailed Easter Sunday in 2014. It didn't feel any more or less crowded than the Mother's Day sailing I had two years prior.
They gave us a small bag containing a few pieces of really crappy candy when we boarded and had the aforementioned chocolate egg displays, but that was it. You can pre order Easter goodies for your cabin and they had a couple of pre made baskets in the gift shop. We were lucky enough that we could order baskets from an outside vendor to have waiting in our cabin, but they are no longer permitted onboard.

We've done 2 Easter cruises on Fantasy and one on Wonder. The ships are full no matter what in that time frame for spring break. But never felt crowded. there is not much "easter stuff" just some simple decor at the restaurants and some crafts in the club. We like Easter on the cruise Fantasy cause it is dress up night!
