What is a SCRIP?

I see these deals for a Universal SCRIP.. I dont know what this is.

Could someone help.

It is like Disney Dollars. There are some differences but basically it is just Universal Dollars.

if you take any of the universal surveys, you are paid in script/universal money.

I believe it says that you do not get change back when using scrip, so make sure you spend enough. Don't spend a $5 scrip on a soda. Get a snack, too.

The scrip that you get from doing surveys is different than the scrip you buy. The survey scrip (Woody Woodpecker Dollars) don't get change back. Universal now has scrip dollars that you can buy and you do get change back from them.

Where can you get scrip? We used to buy the kids Disney Dollars before a trip and give it out as they did specials tasks etc. Can I get Universal Scrip before our trip and do the same thing?

Unfortunately, you can't buy them ahead of time. You can only buy them at the park. You can get them at Guest Services.

I'm an associate at Universal and we do give change back on both the Studios Scrip and the Universal Dollars. As to how to get them, I have no clue.

Then this is a change in policy as there used to be no change for scrip. Maybe they changed this when they introduced UO Dollars to avoid confusion between the two. You can buy UO Dollars at Group Sales and Guest Services. UO dollars come in $1, $5, and $10.

Yea I forget when they started allowing us to give change back. It used to be we were allowed to give change back on the Scrip, but not on the Dollars. Now it's all the same.
