What is a KLM code for car rentals

We are going to Orlando/Disney from Dec 18-27 & are staying offsite for the 1st time therefore we need to rent a car. We are coming from Canada. I keep reading about KLM discounts. Can someone please tell me exactly what that is & how to get it. Want to save as much $ as possible! Thanks so much!

National Car Rental offers a discount for members of KLM's Flying Blue program. Its a frequent flyer program but its open to everyone and free to join.

If you are going to use the discount, be sure to sign up for membership in the Flying Blue program, and have confirmation of your membership (ie your member number) with you when you travel. Very few folks have indicated they were ever asked for it, but for any discount code you are using, its good practice to have confirmation of your entitlement/eligibility with you (ie your CAA card if you are booking with a CAA discount, your Costco card if booking with Costco discount, etc.).

The discount code with National for the Flying Blue rate is 8572130. You add that to the appropriate section of the reservation page when booking your vehicle to get the discounted cost of the rental.

Some weeks will have great rates with that code, others are not so favourable. But its worth running your specific dates and pickup/dropoff times to see.
