I sure hope one of you rental car gurus can help me. Here's the scenario: We arrive at MCO on 11/29 at 11:41 a.m. and we leave on a 10:44 a.m. flight on 12/3.
Using DC member number and the DC coupon, there is a $20 dollar difference depending on whether I'm honest about pick up and drop off times.
If I say we pick the car up at noon and drop it off at 10:00, I only get a daily rate. The total, taxes and all is about $134.
If I say we pick it up at 9:00 and drop it off at 10:00, I get a weekly rate. The total, taxes and all, is about $113.
I recognize it's not a huge price variation, but I could spend $20 another way. Right now I've reserved both. Which one should I cancel? This isn't like returning it a day early, but I don't want to get in trouble over $20.
Help please. Thanks, Sandi
