I've seen it in a lot of PJ's, and I was wondering what is it?

You usually get it BEFORE the event so that you can double check all the arrangements (times, number of chairs, catering items, etc.) and it will give you an "estimate" of costs. Good luck!

Got it:thumbsup2 They wouldn't happen to give one out....say...maybe BEFORE you start planning?? ;) So you know what you are getting into??

No! I think the best info is the website/packet they send you. Probably the best price info is on here though! Most people are more than willing to share!!

You do get to modify after your planning session- really about as much as you want! Initially I think there is always some WISH list items/dispensible items! We are currently on our 2nd go round!

Some things I was surprised to learn about the BEO:

- It really has three parts: 1) The BEO, which describes in detail every event of the day, 2) the Estimated Budget, which breaks down all the prices, and 3) the Wedding Floral Proposal, which details everything you're getting from Disney Floral, including chair covers, place cards, favors, linens.

- You will get MANY revised BEOs. We had at least 6 different BEOS because it changed every time we changed something about the wedding - and we were only planning in about 5 months! I'd imagine a 12-month timeline means even more changes to the BEO!

- If it isn't in the BEO, it doesn't happen. You have to make sure that every detail you want accomplished on your day is written somewhere in the BEO if you want it taken care of. For example, I had minutae like "Please remove the barrels from behind the head table" so that the carnival-style barrels at the Attic wouldn't be in any pix of us sitting at our sweetheart table. I also asked that they not seat anyone at the back of our Friendship boat so that DH and I could take pix alone out there.

Totally Type A, I know, but I'm telling you, everything that was written in the BEO went exactly the way we wanted it to! :thumbsup2

We were given a proposed budget for our event before we signed our LOA - our SM put it together for us. I have gotten our first BEO and it was pretty accurate!
