Time to fess up!

Years ago, I bought BluBlockers. I LOVED them - although I would never wear them now.
I want those new sunglasses that are on tv now - they're Titanium and some kind of bullet proof lenses.... :)

(Just trying to kill time until our trip.....)

No, I never bought any.

I didn't, but my MIL bought a Set It and Forget It...she used it all the time for about 6 mos and it has been growing cobwebs ever since.

I just recently bought a Total Trolley - but we haven't assembled it yet. It looked pretty cool on the TV so I just hope it work as good as they advertised.:scratchin

I have the pot that is also a strainer, the spagetti/egg spayula, Finishing touch shaver thing, rotisory thing and others I can't think of.I am a sucker for these. See my tag.

The only thing I've bought is a George Foreman grill and I must say I love it. The one informercial thing I know that actually works and works great.:)

I don't know the official name but it is the collapsable extended arm with suction cups on the end. 9.99 at Target and it works FABULOUS!!!! I'm 5'5 and most cabinets are to tall for me. So i use this about once or twice a week. Everyone laughs at me but I love it, best ASOTV item i think.

The Ginzu knife. I have had it for over 15 years. I have cut hardwood flooring and trimmed Christmas trees with it and it still works great.
Also the George Foreman grill. It is not something I ever thought I would get but I love it.

Nope! Haven't bought anything. I like to watch those commercials and laugh.

Had dh buy me some thing called like the handi stitch. I only wanted to use for the dh uniforms when they ripped the pants and I wouldnt have to drag out a sewing machine etc. Well we tried it and it was terrible. It couldnt do anything and kept getting jammed all the time. I have learned my lesson, nothing, ever again. Some lady gave us something to sell at the school garage sale. I asked her what it was and she told me some kind of flower arranger thing. She said she got it from an infomercial. She actually bought 2 , they looked so good she said, yeah, right!! I have lived and learned!!, the hard way, no, the Handi-Stitch way!!

We bought the Eggstractor. It really works, too. You just have to make sure the hard boiled eggs are cool enough. We got ours at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

I admit to two, the rotisserie "Set it and forget it" and the 6-wk body makeover. I'll say I've used both with decent results. I didn't obtain a complete body makeover but it did kick start my stalled diet and I lost about 16 lbs in 6 wks. We probably use the rotisserie about once a month. It does great with pork roast and whole chickens. I do find it kind of a pain in that it takes up too much room.

I'm considering the pro-activ products for my teen but haven't found anyone with first-hand knowledge. The stuff from the dermatologist hasn't worked all that great.

I bought walk away the pounds videos. I didn't buy them through the infomercial but they were on an infomercial.

disney4us2002 and all other Dis members,
We, too have been contemplating the ProActiv program for DD17. She had some problems two years ago and the Dermatologist cleared it up for a year or so and now her face is really broken out again and has been for about 3 months. We tried the Murad system (infomercial and they also sell at reputable places like Sephora and others) and after 3 months her face is quite frankly...the same. A friend at work recommended the ProActiv products but I am leery. After spending over $100 on the last batch of products, I don't know...but I also don't know what to try next. You know they only go thru their teens once and you want them to be the best they can be and that includes clear skin!:) So, are you going to give it a try or ??? Also, anyone else out there who has tried ProActov for teens?

I've been using Bare Minerals make-up for about a year and a half now. It took me about a month of watching the infomercial to actually order it. I always think, "if this product is so great, why isn't it sold in stores." Well, I guess now, most things are sold in stores after awhile. I do love watching most infomercials though.

The Rotatoe...and I just had to throw it in the garbage a few weeks ago because it broke. It was this little plastic thing that you put a potatoe on and then it has an arm with a blade on it. You use the handle to rotate the potatoe and the arm peels it. It made peeling potatoes so easy. And they no longer sell them anywhere.....no more potatoe soup, takes to long to peel potatoes.

Bare Minerals was sold in their stores - Bare Escentuals - for many, many, years before it was even in an informercial. They just had a few boutique stores in high-end malls in the San Francisco bay area. At some point they started selling it on QVC and then decided to add their own informercial. They have been expanding across the country and will be opening in Orlando soon.

I remember when they opened one of their very first stores at Hillsdale Mall in San Mateo. My friends and I bought all of our Christmas and birthday presents there - great body care products. The product emphasis has shifted a little more towards makeup but they were best known at first for their great lotions, bath gels, etc.
