I don't know if this is food related or what, I just keep reading about it. Picture, description, something??? Thanks :goodvibes

I small cube about 1-2 inches square that looks like an ice cube with a flashing or solid colored light insdie that you add to drinks. Some can be frozen. They are a LED light inside that you can set to flash or stay a solid color. Here hope this helps.

Tried posted pic but couldn't. You can always google for photos.

Glow cube is neat but if you have kids they will all fight over who gets it. Even the 18 month old wanted it!

When we were eating at Kona, a guy at a table across from us ordered the Blue Glow-tini that had a blue glow cube:

Blue "Glow-tini" Inspired by the Year of a Million Dreams - Skyy Citrus vodka, peach schnapps, blue curacao, sweet-and-sour, and pineapple juice with a sugared rim and sourvenir blue glow cube. - $9.25

Everybody oohhhed and ahhhed when they served him because the glow cube was really bright. Then we all had to laugh because he put the glow cube in his mouth as a joke, and it made his whole face turn blue from within, and he stood up and bowed to everyone - it was really eerie looking, but would probably be good for Halloween though! :rotfl:

Of course, every kid in the place then wanted one, so their parents could have probably killed him for doing that!

The "Glow Cubes" we got in 2005 and 2006 are still workin' great! :upsidedow

I wonder if they will put them in other drinks if I ask for it...

Our glow cube from Ohana is still one of the more popular "toys" from our last trip, surpassing many of the actual... you know... toys! :confused3

It was cute enough but I also got it in the blue glowtini and my already small drink's volume was reduced even further by the pretty big cube, and it wasn't cheap.

Just watch your kids when you order a glowtini. My 7 year old couldn't understand why he didn't get any of the glowing blue drink. :rotfl:

They have 3 different modes, 2 blinking and one steady light. Don't play with the blinking modes too much, they can make you a little dizzy.

Coral Reef has a drink called the Blue Whale(for kids) that has a glow cube...also, Sci Fi has a drink with a red one!

We were able to buy a pack of 2 from the gift shop at the Poly for about $6 :thumbsup2

Glow Cubes would be good to have in the drinks in San Angel Inn so you could read the menus... :rolleyes1

I didn't realize the Glow Cubes lasted so long! I saw quite a few left behind in glasses after people finished their dinners at Coral Reef, leaving an eerie glow until the staff cleared the tables. I figured they didn't glow much longer than the duration of the meal. If I had known they lasted longer, I would have ordered a drink with one so I could take it along back to the room!

do they also sell the glow staws too?

I saw that there were drinks with Tink and Capt. hook straws too...

I got 2 of the year of a million dreams glowtinis last week and am here to tell you they are SOOOOO good! The one made at Coral Reef was perfect and there is a little button on your glow cubes that can turn them on and off and also make them blink. Worth the price IMO because the drinks are so yummy!
