What if you want to cancel a time on the DAS

I haven't used DAS yet but sounds like the time is handwritten on the card/form. But what if the person changes their mind while waiting for that time to occur and wants to use it at a different ride/experience?

Example, at 11am is given a return time of 1230 at Jungle Cruise. starts to walk towards Haunted Mansion at 1215 and wants to ride that instead of waiting for Jungle Cruise. I know one can just go into the normal line but some on the autism spectrum who can't handle the normal line of 30-60 minutes may have a problem.

When you go to get the hm time they will cross out and initial (or stamp) the jungle cruise time. You won't get "credit" for the time you waited for jungle cruise.

When you get a DAS Return Time, the CM writes the attraction, current time, standby line wait time and your Return Time on a line on the DAS. They had been adding initial, but in the past week, they started using a stamp.

When you return to the attraction to use the DAS, a CM will cross that line off to show it is no longer active.

As the other poster mentioned, if your son wants to switch the DAS to a different attraction, you could ask the CM to cross off the one you want to cancel.
If you have a pen, you could cross it off yourself before going to the new attraction. It doesn't matter who crosses it off - once crossed off, it's no longer active and you can get another DAS Return Time.
