What if you loose tickets from Connections?

I am pondering the thought of purchasing tickets from Connections due to the significant savings. However, I plan to purchase the 4 day park hopper plus, which is not available through Disney. What if I loose the tickets, how would Disney issue me a new one if they don't issue the same kind of ticket. Also, will Disney issue me a new ticket if it is not purchased through Disney? Has anyone lost a ticket that was issued by Connections? I would be curious as to what happened.

Make two photocopies of the back of the tickets and keep one with you. Leave the other copy with someone back home. If you should lose a Park Hopper you will have all the information you will need for Disney to reissue a pass to you. If you lose the copy that you brought with you, you can always have your at-home contact fax you their copy.

Unfortunately if you lose your tickets, you are stuck. Disney does not reissue lost passes. When guests came into the store to purchase tix, we could not stress enough to them that they keep the tickets in a safe place and do not pack them in luggage while traveling, because if you lose them, they will not be reissued. Even if they charged the tickets, you can never get a replacement if lost (even with a receipt or copies of the tickets), so be very careful with the tickets - they will be the only ones you will get :) As far as I know, Disney has not changed this policy.

If you have the info from the back of the pass, Disney will and does, reissue the tickets if lost. They will deactivate the lost pass and since they know how many days are left/used on it, will reissue another pass equal to the lost one. That is why people advise others to take photocopies or at least write down the numbers from the back of the pass. Maybe what you are quoting is a store policy, but, it is not a Disney park policy.

Has anyone had an experience to back up what Gayle is saying? I really want to believe Gayle!

Mary,

Thank you! I did look at your site, which I like very much. Your site was a great resource for my rental car search. I was just trying to confirm that it did not matter where the ticket was purchased. I called Disney and they said it did not matter as long as I had a copy of the ticket. Have you ever used Connections? If yes, I would like to hear your experience.

Yes, I've used Connections a bunch of times. I've bought tickets and meal vouchers from them, and have used both without problems.

In fact, I am putting together a family reunion for March and I've purchased almost everyone's tickets for them through my Connections account, because most people wanted 4-Day Hopper Plus passes and Connections has the best deal on them. I also bought Universal passes for several family members.

I know Connections sometimes messes up (based on what I've heard from my readers) but honestly I haven't had one single problem with them since I rejoined late last year, and I've placed probably 20 orders. No double charges, all orders received very quickly. Knock wood! :)
