What if you don't need the limo?

I am gathering some info for a possible vow renewal for our 20th in a few years. We are DVC members and would be staying at the Boardwalk, so I would probably plan the ceremony for Sea Breeze Point at the Boardwalk. Is there anyway to book this a la carte, rather than a package? We wouldn't need the 4 hours for the limo, as we'd be staying where the ceremony would be. We wouldn't need the hotel, as we'd be using DVC points. We wouldn't need the park passes, as we'd have annual passes.

Is there anyway to just get and pay for the things we need?

Normally for an intimate you have to stick to the package - however I do nknow brides who have for example swapped their photography (because they decided to have an outside vendor) for a Disney honeymoon photographic session in the park.

In your instance what you need to do is book your accommodation as you would normally through DVC then you call up Disney Fairy Tale Weddings and let them know that you want an Intimate Add On Vow Renewal - this way the package is cheaper and does not include room or passes.

Then when you get assigned your Event Manager see what they can offer instead of the limo, obviously they don't have to be flexible but if you can work your charm and explain why you don't need the limo maybe they'll be able to work something out for you.

I am planning an intimate wedding and my EM told me that if I didn't need the hotel or the passes the cost would be $2350. I'm not sure if this is true for a VR, but I would imagine they could accommodate. Also, on yourfairytale.com, they let you sneak a peek at a planning packet from Disney. It says on there that if you don't need the limo at the time of the ceremony and reception, you can schedule it for another night. Maybe a fancy dinner to GF or something?

If you fly in, could you use the limo to pick you up and make your grocery stop? Or the idea about taking it for a nice dinner would be fun too, or to maybe tour the other resorts for shopping one day?
