Oh, God, I wish I could do this.

I would not marry my college (and pretty much first) boyfriend.

We were together for 11 years (4 dating, 7 married). He was a (verbally) abusive alcoholic who cheated on me with my best friend.

I was (and still am) so scarred by that relationship, I feel like it's just damaged me forever. I'd do anything to be rid of that poison.
