Should I have second choices in ADR's lined up when I call on my 180th day? I don't have any other ones picked out. Here's my plan:

Sat-Travel Day
Sun- O'hana
Mon-Coral Reef
Tues-BOG
Wed-Narcoosee's
Thur-Chef Mickey
Fri-1900 Park Fare

Just do 'Ohana and BOG 1st right at 6am and you'll have no trouble at all.

It's always a good idea to have backs up ready. Be flexible about the times that you want to dine, that will help also.

I think you'll be fine. But Ohana might give you some trouble because you're trying to book so early into your trip. Others will have been booking that day with their 180+10 for 8 days already. So do have an alternative plan in mind when you call in.

If I have something else in mind....should I still try for my first choice....what are the chances something will open up? I really want all my choices....

By all means go for your first choice. The odds are with you. But have a backup plan in mind in case it's not available.

None of these require park admission - are you able to be flexible with the order/dates that you have these ADRs? That will make it easier too.

You may have a problem with 'Ohana and BOG. I would have a back-up plan for those two, or at least be flexible for the times. As someone else suggested, request those two first when you call.

Once you've made your initial reservations you can keep checking online for the next 180 days to see if something better comes up. Based on the number of changes people make, you should get all your first choices by the time you're ready to leave for your vacation. :)

I got le cellier on the first day of my vacation at my preferred time and Ohana the second day of my vacation at my preferred time. I didnt have any problem what-so-ever getting everything I want :cool1: Maybe it depends on the time of year you go.
