What if I'm a little short when final payment is due?

This may be a stupid question, but what happens if I pay most of my package, but end up say $100 short on the day the final payment is due? Will they cancel the whole package, extend my final payment date, ban me from WDW forever, make me sing It's a small world incessantly, or what? I really want to book a package with dining, especially if the upcoming discount is good, but I'm not sure I can get ALL of the $$ together by early November (for a Christmas trip). (DH is supposed to get a bonus a little later than that which should cover the difference). Thanks to anyone who can answer.

Can you book it without the dining and pay that off at the 45 day deadline and then add the dining later when you have the money, but before you go? I don't know if there would be a change fee or not, though - hopefully not since you are adding an option and increasing the cost. Would have to ask before you do this.

I just had this happen to me for our Oct trip. They gave me an extra 2 weeks to pay. Call Disney and ask.

I'm hoping that I can add something to my package closer to the the departure day if we go in Feb. I think I read somewhere that changes can be made up to 21? days prior without penalty as long as you aren't canceling. Also many have reported upgrading their package without a penalty since the new package will cost more money.

I think you can UPGRADE with no problems, I mean really...who would not let you do this??
