What if I book and???

Ok I need help and I know I have come to the right place! I have never been a deal shopper for the last 2 trips I just got on line with Disney and booked my trip! but now I need to get the best deal possible if my hubby will let us go again... So if I book a trip for June thur AAA and Disney comes out with a discount or some other good deal before our trip, Are we just out of luck or can I go back to AAA and and get that rate. Or should I book with Disney? and will they go back and change us to the deal or not?

Just book your room only through disney with a AAA discount.
You can change your reservation as you find better deals and even make it a package deal if you find the right one.
Best to have your room reserved at the very least.

This site along with mousesavers.com are great resources to all the best discount codes and packages available.

Keep in mind that AAA does not always have the best discounts. Disney does offer better rates at time. Check out mousesavers often as they update when ever they get new info/codes/deals.

I have found that AAA Travel doesn't have access to any discounts that aren't available by calling Disney direct. I am a member of AAA and have just asked for the AAA discount when booking my reservation.

Before the recession, AP and AAA discounts were about all you could expect when booking a spring break trip to WDW. Even then, they only had so many rooms set aside for AAA discounts, so you needed to have them added shortly after they came out (directly after WDW announces the next years prices ... July/Aug). Again, I'm talking about the Peak/Holiday seasons.

I have always booked directly through Disney and then I can keep track of things and act quickly once I get info on new discounts and/or packages for my dates of travel. I find that I know WAY MORE about Disney than any of the travel agents in my area.

Okay, so I'm a control freak - but it works for me.
