What if Dessert not offered at Counter Service?

We are going later this week to Disney, on the Quick Service Dining Plan for first time so we need some help!

I know that a Dessert is included with each Meal. But are there some Quick Service restaurants which don't have a Dessert on their menu, and what happens in that case? Do you just not get to have a Dessert with your Entree even though it is part of your dining plan?
(for example, looking at an online menu of Yakitori House at Epcot, I don't see a dessert option)

Yakitori House has dessert it is just different or can be.. everyday
I do not know of any that do not have dessert although it may just be a cookie.....

Yeah I think in all cases there is a dessert, you just don't have much selection.

I think they have a ginger flan type thing at Yakitori.

Some places have just a cookie, but I think they all know they are on the DDP and have some type of dessert.

If there's no dessert on the menu (and there are a couple of places like this, although Yakitori House is not one of them - they do have dessert options. I think one of them is Toluca Turkey Legs) then you just don't get a dessert.

Also I think I remember being able to get a H20 bottle instead of dessert at CS restaurants.

That depeneds on the dessert.
I actually said no in Morroco and got the extra water the second time I ate there.
STUPID!!

Anyway you can ask. This seems to vary by CM and is not standard policy.

too true, tony. no sense wasting good stomach space/calories on so-so counter service desserts when we must save room for the good stuff: almond cheesecake from Narcoosees, Mickey bars and grey goose slushies!
