If there is no differentiation on the room cards as to whether there are 2 adults or an adult and a child, and if, as I've heard, CM's may tell you the child has to buy from the kids menu if they think they are younger than 10, what happens when they think a smaller 11 year old is 9 years? My son is 11 and I bought the adult dining plan for him. Do the restaurants take yours and/or the child's word if there is a question?

It is noted on your ADR who will be dining, It will have a notation saying 2 adults, 2 childeren or whatever your party is, so they will already know that your son payed as an adult.

Your child's room ID will say child or adult. My grandson goes with us often and this is what his card says the last couple of trips he went on (July, September, and December). He's 11. So if there is any question, just show the server the room ID. Sometimes his card has said junior--which is the same as adult, since there is no special prices for juniors.

For the dining plan (or any dining onsite) an eleven-year-old is an adult. So the space on the room keys that indicates the dining plan will state two adults.

Boy, I would throw a stink if that happened! My DD turns 10 a month before we go, and I'm not that happy that I have to pay the adult price for the dining plan as it is!

Glad to hear it is on the cards.....

I know they can tell you how many adults/children are on the plan (at least Premium). We had our 1 year old with us and we just used "extra" credits for his meal (most of them were mine - so basically adult ones). The waitress told us we had 3 adults/2 kids when questioning if I really wanted to do that. Yes, I did since I knew we would end up wasting them anyway. So, just by my card alone - she knew how many adults/children for credits.

The Premium plan isn't divided up via TS/CS/Snack but it is divided up adult/child.

However, since they are 11, they are paying adult prices, they aren't going to care which menu you order off.
