What if all the Disney Parks were under the same ticket sysytem?

What if all the Disney Parks were under the same system? An Annual Pass would get you in any Disney Park. Would this be a good thing or a bad thing? I realize that WDW has 4 major parks, and 2 waterparks. Disneyland has 2 parks. An annual pass at Disneyland is 1/2 the cost of one at WDW. Is this the way it should be? What if the ticket system was reconstructed so that all of their tickets, from the annual passes, right down to the park hoppers and the park hopper pluses were good in all of Disney parks? Would this be good or bad. Would they sell more less annual passes? Would Disneyland be punished and most likely charged more for their annual pass?

Think about it. You buy a Disney ticket for any number of days from 1 to whatever, the more days you buy, the cheaper it is per day. You buy the no expiration feature, so you can plan a trip to WDW and one to Disneyland. You purchase an Annual pass that will get you into Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, the New Honk Kong Disneyland and all of WDW.

Now please don't flame me, I am just bringing up this idea, because a traveling companion of mine, once thought that if you pruchased an annual pass for WDW, then you could also use it at Disneyland. I realize the major differences in the two Disney destinations, just thought your feedback, if you have any, would be very interesting.

Yes, that is true. If you buy an Annual pass for Disneyland, then you must use it at Disneyland. If you buy one for WDW, then you must use it at WDW. What if they added an annual pass that could be used worldwide? You could use it at any Disney Destination. At first I thought it should replace all the other annual pases, but now I think a better idea, would be to add an Annual Pass that is good world wide. Still keeping the other passes that are annual, and adjusting their prices.

I think there is a very small number of people who would be interested in a company-wide annual pass. Realistically, how many people visit Disneyland and WDW in the same year? I'm guessing the number is low.

They definitely shouldn't replace the current tickets because I think that would hike the prices for everyone. I wouldn't have a problem with them adding a company-wide pass but I wouldn't expect them to sell many.

I think it would be a neat option. Although there are not hundreds of thousands of people who do this, I honestly think there are more people than you might imagine who do DL & WDW in the same year. A good Disney friend of ours who works for a local major manufacturer travels to WDW 3xs/yr to enjoy his 500 DVC points and is in CA right now for work. He's visited DL a couple of times already, mostly because he was out there for work.

If they offered that type of ticket media (good worldwide) in addition to their regular APs & PAPs, I might bite one year and really get my money's worth. It would involving alot of saving up, but I'd love to see DL Paris, the new HK DL, Tokyo & DL in CA. HMMMM.....

What a great idea - to have an option to purchase a flex for all parks. We live in CA and have passed to DL but also visit WDW once each year. I owuld pay a bit more to have the option to park hop from CA to FL

Disneyland Premium APs are currently $325 and are rumored to be going up to $400 for "around" the 50th celebration price hikes. They have gone up about $100 since last October. The lower ones are proportionately the same, although since I don't have one, I can't give you the prices, prehaps someone else can.

I would love this option. Would be nice to have an add-on for the other parks beside your "home-park".

My "home-park" is DLRP and the Dream-AP is 159€ means 205$ so the price is very low compared to DL and WDW

But I think that a lot of Europeans would like the option to buy an AP for all parks for would say 500$ (no PAP).
