What I'd really like from MM+ is..

I'd like to be able to be able to have an account tied to my magic bands, but instead of it being my credit card, make it where I can apply gift cards to it or I can apply money directly.

[*]I can slowly save to that over time to have the money ready to spend on trips.
[*]Also saves me from having to carry a ton of gift cards, and reconciling before auto checkout.
[*]Disney could program it to be able to have it where people could check their balance on the app.
[*]Parents could also be able to give kids an allowance through their magic bands for spending on vacation.
[*]Could still have the credit card there as backup if funds run out in the account.

What about you? What do you want to see from MM+ that hasn't been introduced? What would make your trip better? Easier? More magical?

(other than FP+ changes, I think we can agree that many active posters here would like to see changes there and there's lots of other threads for that)

Since you have a room reservation there you can over pay on your reservation. Ive done that many times. Any of the extra goes on the room account and will be deducted from first before it charges your cc on file.

Your credit card information is not actually on your band. When you use your band to charge things, they charge to your room bill. Yes, you can go to the desk and pay your balance with gift cards or cash, but I think you can even add it in advance.

Yes, however I don't want to have to take 20 gift cards and have them swipe them.. Right now it only let me pay my down payment and the site says I have to wait til I get there to pay more.

Yeah, I know how the bands work in that the only thing stored on the band is the unique identifier number. That being said, my MM+ has my credit card info stored, my point was that it could continue to work like it does today.

What this would do is essentially have an account related to your MM+ rather than a spending limit related to my individual stays. The account would be able to go from one stay to another.

I'll have to look at it a bit more but yeah that might be what they're looking to do with this.

You can call and make a payment toward your balance.
